Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
-Sulfaquinoxaline sodium         34.88mg
-Pyrimethamine                          9.8 mg

Properties:
Sulfaquinoxaline is an anticoccidial belonging to the group of sulfonamides.
Sulfaquinoxaline has been used for control of coccidia and some susceptible bacteria in poultry.
Sulfaquinoxaline – Pyrimethamine (potentiated mixture) are highly effective against Eimeria acervulina and E. Tenella than Sulfaquinoxaline alone.
Like all sulfonamides, Sulfaquinoxaline acts as false substrate in the synthesis of folic acid (PABA) inhibiting the synthesis of folic acid. Pyrimethamine inhibits the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase, an enzyme critical to synthesis of tetrahydrofolic acid.

Indications:
Thaminacox is indicated for the treatment of coccidiosis in broiler chickens and turkeys due to infection with Eimeria species.

Target Species:
Broiler chickens and turkeys.

Dosage and administration:
Route of administration: Orally via drinking water.

Dosage:
1.5 ml Thaminacox per 1 liter of drinking water for 2 consecutive days repeated for another 3 days after 3 days.

Contraindications:
-As Sulfaquinoxaline belonging to the group of sulfonamides it should not be used with para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), or folic acid

Storage:
Store at temperature not exceeding 30° C.

Package:
Plastic closure lined with LDPE (HDPE) plastic bottles contains 10, 100, 500 or 1000 ml oral solution closed by (HDPE)
Plastic foam liner with outer label.
